Is it normal to use plastic forks and spoons

I don't like using metal forks and spoons that have not been washed properly and have food stains etc still on them ( I don't wash them ) so I decided to start using plastic forks and spoons that I can throw away and avoid the trouble of forks and spoons not being as clean as they should.

Is this normal, I have a feeling it is not lol.

    i don't liking washing dishes, so i just use plastic cups, plastic spoons, plastic forks, paper plates/bowls.

    Haha I used to do this because I hated doing dishes so much. Now I just have a dishwasher, and I don't have to worry about running out of plates or spoons.

    For some reason, whenever I eat fruit I always have to eat with a plastic spoon because otherwise I can taste the metal. It's a little bit nasty :(
