Is it normal to use drugs to study?

It was always very hard for me to study. I only study when there is this specific mood i have, which is very rare. at those times i do study very well, but it is definitly not enough.
when i was younger, i used to take some of my brother's ritalin that his psychologist gave. but i quited in a short time, it was like just for a year of high school. Last year, i begun to use modafinil. it is very helpful. Is it normal that i was never able to truly study and now i am able to study with the help of drugs?

    i think it's normal.
In the beginning years of university, i used so much cocaine before important tests, i would study for 2 days straight and write the test, never got worse than a 2(B). But damn, it was expensive.

anyway, i can relate to that, i also need a way to focus on the material, ESPECIALLY for longer time periods. medication/drugs can work perfectly for that purpose.

they are very effective and it looks pretty sensible to use them. did you see any side effects?

i can assure you in university it's pretty normal, even if less expensive ones are preferred.

my brother actually had adhd, so he had drugs all the time. and i think i do most probably have something like that cause i find my case similar to his' but not the same.
