If you pop your "cherry" then technically you aren't a virgin anymore. You can masturbate and still be a virgin, though.

You have to have sex with another human to "technically" lose your virginity.
I sort of think so; I put human because of all the beastie stories. I mean I don't think it's fair to say that a girl has lost her virginity because she let her dog lick some peanut butter off her cooch. And I doubt those girls that do donkeys and goats lost their virginity to the animal; I think that would be such a rarity that it's not even worth considering.
I guess it is possible to fuck and animal if your a guy, but I still don't think it is considered losing your virginity until you've done it with one of your own species.

Technically speaking, you are still a virgin until you have intercourse with a partner. (At least thats the official position here, as there's many reasons why your physical "virginity" proof may no longer be intact)

Why not? That's what I should've done before losing my virginity to a well-endowed, inexperienced super-horny teenage boy. It would've helped me prepare mentally and physically for proper sex.
