Is it normal to use a different language to your own on your ipod?

Well, as the title says, is it normal to use different language(s) to English (in my case) on your ipod? I do this all the time, my ipod's language is currently French, i've also used German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and English of course.
Thanks in advance.

My mothertongue is French but I've always configured my computers to display everything in English, from my Commodore 64 (where there was no choice in the first place) all the way through my Windows PCs to my iDevices. It's easier to deal with troubleshooting when you don't have to mentally translate what a menu item or button is supposed to sound like in your language.

I think it's pretty cool. My iPod is currently in french though i can speak french pretty well. I also put my ipod in Russian occasionally though i did a course in it.

I do that too with spanish and german cos they're my secondary languages so its good for practice, I also do that in other languages for movies and video games that i've already watched/played, just to see it in other ways,& how they characters sound, its funny

Hmm not normal... I use english on my iPod Touch and my phone and am german but I am somehow fluent in english so it's no big deal... However, it is crazy to use a language you really don't know^^

I wouldn't say it was normal unless you were at least somewhat fluent in those languages, but I suppose it might be an interesting way to try to learn.
