Is it normal to understand lsd trips at age 3?

Yes, for some reason all my memories seem like an LSD trip. Literally. Like if I didnt get into some acid, I must just be insane.
My old old memories. Like my earliest ones where an exact LSD trip???
What?? How??

  • I tried acid once about 10 years ago, and I know exactly what you are talking about.
I have a very vivid memory of childhood and everything before about 5 is like that. I actually remember as a toddler my mental state felt like what I would later describe as "high".
As I got older reality appears more dull, although I still get that old "high" from time to time without even doing anything. I don't know if most people do, but I am still like a child more so than most adults are, which may also be part of why I have such a clear memory of early childhood.
My guess is that as we age, our brains produce less and less DMT, which is probably what induces this perception.
I think a lot of people aren't going to understand this because they haven't tried lsd and/or do not remember childhood as clearly as us.

Idk about you guys but I have very distinct memories of watching my carpet as a little kid behave exactly as it does on LSD. The wavy breathing visuals. Really makes you wonder.

It's absolutely normal. Tripping is in a lot of ways similar to being a little kid, and vice versa. Little kids don't have a solid sense of self or a solid sense of anything really, everything is new to them, and they don't intellectualize. So they experience the world directly and not through the filter of the ego and thought. That's a big portion of what psychedelics do for us.

I don't think someone who doesn't know what death is could understand drugs.

It is possible that as a child, for whatever reason, you were somehow exposed to hallucinogenics.
