Is it normal to understand he's just being nice but.....

So a while ago I had a soccer game and it was wicked cold. One of the guys on the team gave me his sweatshirt to where. I'm glad that he did because I was freezing but I didn't like it because it was just awkward. I feel like people think I purposely forget coats and sweatshirts so I get to wear guys sweatshirts.

So anyways, is it normal to appreciate the gesture but rather not have the sweatshirt to wear or am I just bing silly?

If this really bothered you, you would remember to bring a coat of your own to wear. Problem solved.

No one thinks you did it on purpose. Sometimes people just forget to bring a sweater. He was probably just being a nice guy and I doubt him or anyone else thinks your a tramp. So don't worry.
