Well it really depends on context. I would say in general its very acceptable between females in most cases. It differs depending on state, local city, age, culture, situation and so on. I cant clear cut say YES OR NO and I am from America. Though I will tell you in America a lot of people will read into ANYTHING, so you might want to be careful. Its really kind of annoying actually. A lot of men assume a female talking to them means "I totally want to date and or have his babies"! Rules and culture can totally change from one city to the next. Its really bizarre how different everything can become.

Most of my friends are guys, (im a girl) and I love them. Not in a crush way, or a relationship way. They are just some of the greatest people i'll ever meet.

Why not? I do it (since joining IIN, anyway) with friends of either gender.

You are certainly underage, and if the moderators don't do anything about your participation on this website they are either purposely looking the other way, or plain idiots.

No idiot he is probobly foreign to the US. If he was from the US he probobly would have just said AMERICAN. The way it is phrased in this question makes it sound like a foreigner is asking.
