i turned 11 7 years ago and my mom turned 50 now I'm 18 and shes 57. is this normal?

    When my youngest sister turns 11 her mother will be 57. My stepmom didn't even think she could have kids and then my little sister was born.

    My mom turned 54 10 years ago and i turned 16 10 years ago, my dad is 10 years older then my mom

    Don't be self concious about this. Just be happy in your own skin and embrace how your parents had thought about how waiting was a good thing. It is perfectly fine.

    Of course it's normal! Why won't it be? Having a baby at 39 is not a big deal. My aunt had a baby at 40 ;)

    It's normal for me: I'm 23 and my mom is 65 and I have a friend who is 23 and her dad is 85 so yea.

    So? I'll be 55 when my daughter is 18. Her dad will be 64. We chose to wait until we were older and more financially stable before we had her.

    Uhm..When I was 11 my Mother turned 50 too. SPOOKY...so abnormal having kids in your 30s (most common age to have children across the usa).
