Is it normal to try and find patterns when looking at clocks?

For a few years now, whenever I look at a clock I attempt to find patterns in the numbers. For example: 7:29 would be 7+2=9. Sometimes, the patterns are more obscure. For example: 6:51, all the numbers are letters in 1337speak. And in 6:59, all of the numbers can be rotated in ways that make them other, or the same, numbers. Is that normal?

I think it's human nature to seek pattern in things. It allows us to predict the future. Men are good with numbers. Women are good at pretty much everything.

Ever since my boyfriend watched "The Number 23" movie he does things like that too. It's like what intelligent people do with their free time.

Jesus. I didn't think anyone else did that. Do you organize Skittles/M&M's before you eat them? Or line up your markers in rainbow order?

Its human nature like how many people seek symetry in things because its neater for our eyes to look at, or in lamens terms symetry is nicer to look at
