Is it normal to to unravel a 2-year old problem in 1 night?

Ok, so:

There has been this issue, resulting from an event that happened 2 years ago, that has been really bothering me and holding me back in a lot of ways ever since.

Tonight I feel like I had a MAJOR breakthrough in how I was looking at it. I really came to some extremely cathartic and powerful revelations and at the moment I feel almost invincible.

Is it normal that this can happen in one night? How can I ensure that I keep my newfound knowledge and not lose it? How do I keep this momentum and use what I discovered to keep moving forward and not fall back to where I was before tonight?

If you've been working on it for two years, a solution was bound to surface eventually. Write it for sure, tell people, blog it!

I have also had an epiphany today!

I have never been able to work out why my lazy obese sister goes running on a treadmill at the gym when she won't even walk the dog or walk up the stairs in the house or even do housework...

After 12 years it has dawned on me.....

She runs on the treadmill while looking at her (beautiful) self in the mirror!

Write about it, share it with the world. Your findings might help someone. I think it's normal. You've been thinking about it for years and you finally solved it:) I've solved/discovered allot of things in the night.

    Epiphany!

Write it down I guess. Learn from it. Don't make the same mistakes twice.

Post a story on IIN about it. Then it's there for posterity.
