Is it normal to to do odd covers of busted songs with my boyfriend?

Today my boyfriend and I were in the middle of an essay writing session when we felt a sudden urge to do something a little different. So we decided to record our own version of Busted's 'Thunderbirds Are Go'. We felt it was important to make it unique so he sang incredibly high (i.e a squeak) and I incredibly low (i.e. a rumble). We felt very proud of ourselves and proceeded to upload it to facebook and youtube. In retrospect, I think this may have been a peculiar activity, not to mention a slight subversion of gender roles. Is this normal?

P.S.Here's the link, for proof:

    Make an album of these.

Send it to NASA as your recordings of the language of an alien life form.

Send it to your worst enemies as punishment.

Play it out-loud to attract warthogs and/or repel cats.

Use it as the laughing track for a terrible sitcom.

Request it to be played at your funeral to troll your loved ones.

(Seriously, I am in awe of your weirdness. It's the good type of weirdness.)

I've discovered that typing 'Thunderbirds Are Go crazy idiots' into youtube brings it up. Enjoy.
