I think most people who drive act like they are entitled. Cars turn people into assholes.

I don't think this is a gender specific trait at all!

And I certainly don't agree it applies to all women.

What a ridiculous generalisation! Get out more, meet more women.

where I live, yeah I can see your point.
I've travelled quite extensively and in some parts of the world women are still fighting for the freedoms we accept as basic human rights.

To life outside of a kitchen. It's sickening...

If you can't manage a life "outside the kitchen", as you put it (ok, i'll say it as "if you cannot manage to be a respectful member of society and are a snobbish, irritating twat") you are NOT entitled to it. Hell i don't think they deserve it either :P

p.s. I'm saying this as a woman. These bitches are more of a problem than men "looking down" on us. Most of the times they are the reason.

Some white women of Walnut Creek California, the kind that have the ironed flat bleach blonde hair and drive Range Rovers and 4X4s just to drive around town to shop. They roll over wheel stops, go way beyond the crosswalks so people have to walk around them, and worst of all are constantly looking down and doing other things while they drive their Expeditions and Escalades. When they cause accidents they become scheming liars. No wonder their husbands cheat on them.... they really do.

This is why people say "Fuck chivalry"

Precisely, if everyone just had decent manners and basic respect for eachother there would be no need for chivalry in the first place.

  • I think there are a lot that do, a lot that aren't.

I experienced this once. I was walking around all day, my legs were killing me, and I found a seat. This girl asked if she could have the seat, in which I said no (politely), due to how much I had been using my legs. Then she tried to get this guy to take it off of me.

She got the message that if she is going to play games, I will beat hers and introduce her to my own.

I was taught not to ask for things but rather to wait for them to be offered. I think that was tacky of her.

      • Yeah, but I suppose some that are taught under that sometimes end up thinking they are entitled to people offering them things.

Yeah, some people think they are "special." I don't disagree, but rather believe that an individual is unique just like every other person is unique and special.

I wouldn't say that women in general are like that but rather that there is a certain type of über feminine female who likes to act helpless and entitled. I remember in college this stupid girl said it was un-lady like to pump her own gas.

Hehe...I'm from one of two states that doesn't have to pump their own gas. Pathetic, I know. But damn it I'll do it if I have to!

I think I fall under this category. Usually I just want respect, but I do cross the line sometimes. I'm not very outward with it though. It's mostly the people closest to me who see this behavior. Out in the world it's undetectable, but i've noticed it is part of my thought process at times. Also, i usually have a pretty good reason to feel i deserve something, but the thing is I feel ideserve better pretty often. But at the, same time I'm content with what i have an what i get. Either way, i hope this is sonething i grow out of.

I have no problems with people who want the best then go out and work for it or feel entitled....to what they have worked for.The ones I can't stand are those who want the best and feel entitled and its always somebody else's job to provide it.

It depends which girls you are paying attention to. Those ones, it's best to stay away. But yes, guys can be the same way. I have a cousin going to Perdue for engineering...and man is he spoiled. He HAS to wear name brands and he only wants the best things. So, yes, not just girls.

I can see why you say this, but I also see plenty of women who aren't this way. It just depends on what women you have in your life and get involved with.
