I don't care what the animal I'm eating looks like. I just don't want to eat an animal that lives off of feces.
Hahaha! It's food, don't go by it's look's. See what it actually taste like first.
Completely depends on the culture I guess, most Westerners think that bugs and reptiles are too ugly to eat while many Asian nations have been eating them for centuries.
Alternatively, you can speak the truth on how plants have the ability to feel. So, if they can feel, should people really consume them?
If people leave out plants and animals to eat. Then the only thing left to eat would be greatly limited. There would be animal products like cheese, milk and yogurt as well as bee products which would be royal jelly, propolis, bee pollen and honey. Other than that, there would be Inedia which does have its dangers if not properly done.

That is like saying that the sky is too beautiful and therefore people shouldn't fly through it.
Or, that oxygen is invisible which means that it is impossible to exist.
Aesthetics shouldn't go over the matter of survival.
They're a strange looking bird, alright, but prawns are even stranger and people eat them.
