Is it normal to think this about rebecca black?
From my honest point of view, she's over. I really can't see the girl releasing any more music after the incredibly disastrous song "Friday".
The amount of hate she has recieved as absolutely staggering, it's quite fascinating actually. The impact this four-minute recording has on internet culture is simply and unarguably monstrous in more ways than one: The huge amount of parody versions and remixes that have surfaced, the fact it's more than doubled the dislike count of JB's song Baby, the fact that its lyrics are practically unforgettable ("Yesterday was Thursday, today is Friday!") and the fact that she's become a universally insulted symbol of bad mainstream tween music (although I can tell you there is worse music out there... there is music out there that is far, far more offensive than a simple pop song).
For her to continue her music career would mean immediate hate. People now judge her future music before it even gets released. If she released a new song on YouTube it would be absolutely smothered in dislikes within SECONDS. She would recieve more hate, more death threats, more parodies, more everything. Everything that came when Friday arrived would return. To be honest, I'm sorry that the record company made the poor girl sing that song, her dream has been hopelessly shattered, to never be repaired, and to be in such a position must be heartbreaking for her.
So to conclude I really don't think she'll be continuing, she might just forget she ever released that song and move on to a more tangible career... is it normal to hold this opinion?
