What one person receives without working for...another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work, because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation!
I don't think the gov't should have incentives for crapping out multiple poorly patented children. I hate the sense of entitlement those on welfare seem to have. Am I the only one who feels this way? is it normal to have contempt for such people.

    I'm sorry Dom but I'm working 35 hours a week and taking 16 credits, why should I have to lose money for having aspirations and the drive to achieve them when others can just abuse the system to get a check every week? Did you know if you get a doctor to say you're depressed you can live on welfare forever? I've had bouts of depression but I keep up with my life. Life is hard and if you don't want to work, you don't deserve money. I barely have time to shit, shave, and eat some days, while the government is taking percentages out of my checks to let others do absolutely nothing all day.

    They make it so hard to keep the money you earn that it becomes extremely challenging to raise your class barrier, but they make it so easy to lower your class which is what is killing this country.

      If the unemployed get so much money, why don't all they all live in mansions instead of ghettoes?

      Mostly the unemployed do want to work, but can't. Jobs are very hard to get thess days, especially if you have no qualifications. If you fuck up really badly in high school, then you're screwed for life. It's welfare or homelessness.

        You know those highschoolers/college who get kicked out do not get any money. It would be nice if they did but you get it only if you have children. If you are homeless, jobless and 18 no one cares. So welfare is not helping these people at all. That would be a valid reply if it actually helped those people. You are very misinformed. Go educate yourself about the subject you are discussing.

    If jobs are hard to find it's because social charges on salaries to pay for those on welfare make wages unaffordable. Moreover the government makes it hard to fire people so they think twice about hiring. And to add insult to injury the government forces all sorts of anti-discrimination laws down employers throats that make it hard to weed out bad elements making companies a lot less competitive than those in countries where the free market still has a greater say.

    Of course it's normal.

    You work hard for what you have and then you see others demanding their "fair share" of what you earned.

    I mean I'm not against helping people who need help... but the problem is there are those out there who treat this as their god-given-right,... there are those who feel they don't have to work because you'll be forced to pay for them.

    yet the liberal media wants us all to believe the rich people are to blame. that they "stole" it all from everyone else.

    only in today's society... would people consider it a sin to work hard to have more... why? Because it makes others jealous and therefore you shouldn't have it.

    Its not following the Natural order. In nature animals too lazy to care for themselves and their young don't survive, so why does society reward lazy specimens? I think its because the people in charge a) steal o LOT of that money that is supposed to go into welfare and b) want the middle class to focus their anger on the welfare bums while ignoring the real criminals, the super rich...

    I also would like to point out the fact you get taxed less for getting married and having kids. Even though most places in the world are overpopulated and too many unwanted kids. We don't need more unwanted children in this world. They have welfare in most parts of the world. It does not always help everyone either and it often seems meant to reward the fuck ups apposed to those who are trying to be productive.

    haha, You want to be in the UK - it's totally and utterly unbelievable. They get so much on benefits that they could NEVER find a job that pays so much!!

    I just heard yesterday that a girl I know gets £750 (approx $1,000)A WEEK and gets her rent paid, free dinners and uniforms for her children, free medical and dental treatment for them all, etc!!!!

    WTF?!
