Is it normal to think the soulmate idea is stupid?

I always wonder how someone could believe that there is only one other person on this planet that would be perfect for them. It's hard for me to think that's even possible when people change all the time shouldn't the person or people that fit with them change as well? And wouldn't it make sense that there are pleanty of people that you would be able to get along with like that? Is this normal?

    No, completely normal. The idea of a "soulmate" is a romantic idea... But devoid of reality. We very much CAN fall in love with a bunch of people. It's finding someone who's right for you... Because there's not a one PERFECT, born for eachother person out there for all of us.

    i agree, but u only truly experience the feeling of love (delusions) one or two times at most. Then you just know better.
