Is it normal to think that this website is not diverse?

Almost everyone on here is an American Christian Conservative. I've only seen two atheists and they were treated like shit. There are no Muslims or anyone from any other religion that use this website. Almost everyone here is a prolife homophobe and conservative. I've seen ONE liberal. ONE. This website needs more diversity. I don't think there are many minorities either.

    Are you kidding? Look at any poll on religion and the winner is most often atheist/agnostic.

    I personally know 3 Muslims here and a couple of Jews.

    As for minorities, I know a few Asian and Hispanic users are here and a good many black folks.

    As far as politics go there seems to be about a 60/40 split, actually leaning liberal.

    There is a good bit of homophobia, but I think most of it is in jest. I have made such comments in a joking way, but I bust everyone's balls.

    You must be new here because you are way off with this post.

    I would guess that it's a mixture of conservative and liberal white atheists and agnostics. For whatever reason people who state their religion tend to be christian, and atheists don't often make a point to say they are since for most of us since it is a non-belief it is not something we spend much time contemplating

    I'm a conservative atheist. I believe in low taxes, small government but not at all in god(s). I'm pro-choice, homo-tolerating though I'd wish they wouldn't adopt kids, I dislike modern feminists of the sort that hates men and want to suppress male sexuality, emasculate little boys by forcing them to pee sitting etc. So, how diverse do I get?

    I'm an english atheist, i don't know about the politics shit though.
    But I do agree with you, everyone on here seems to be either American, homophobic, Christians or all three.

    If anything, it seem to be they're are more liberal Athiests.

    Also, europeans seem to be a large part of this site.

    It seems that americans who lean right are the minority here.

    I consider myself center-right myself, but they're are a few things i agree with the libs on (although not exactly with the details)

      I mean Americans used to celebrate a holiday called Christmas but now it may offend the minority. Its so ridiculous.
