Is it normal to think that people actually read my long comments?

I tend to write a lot. I am fairly educated and older and my advice I offer is rather good, although EXTREMELY long. Is it wrong for me to write so much as I don't want to waste anyone's time or my own if nobody does read it. However, I feel that I probably have helped several people in the past.

So, does anyone actually read the longer comments. I try to but if your a guy, I tend to not so I was curious if anyone reads mine?

    I do enjoy lengthier, more intelligent comments. The only thing I don't follow very well, and maybe it's just my iPhone format, is that when you're responding to someone's post without referring to a name, I don't know who you're addressing.

    I say keep on writing!

      Wow, I read your comment and then hers and you are wrong. She is more worried about her mother's reaction than my own and is worried about being disowned.

      Oh, and the fight between her mom and I started when her mom stole four thousand out of her account for her gambling addiction and I have since then demanded that she should pay her daughter back. This was years ago and her mom welcomes her being pregnant and all is well.

      Thank you though for sourcing your comment, you did a piss poor job of understanding her comment or why she was worried in the first place but you did source your comment and for that I thank you.

      If this doesn't wrap it up though, I will ask her to update her story tomorrow.

      Thank you. I admit I am a little wrong in this bitchfest but it took me a while to realise that. Now, if the shit continues, I will enjoy the inner-child I have repressed and attack them back.

      I agree with you on that thing about friends though, I don't give two shits about anyone here and I love my fiance who supports me and a job I cherish. Sure, I'm new there but I am very well liked and it isn't like I care at all what this whore or that dumbass thinks at all.

      Thank you though, even if you don't agree with me, I surely agree with you.

      Upset by you, not really. Sure I was annoyed at first as I truly used to respect this site but now, not so much. I do have fun laughing at how absolutely awful you seem to be with my fiance 'loverofbunnies' though.

      You are nothing more than a joke and that is it. I will never learn anything from you or the rest of you idiot squad and it brings joy to my day to continue to read your rants. It took me a while to realise this but now that I have, it is fun to see where this goes.

      Way to go, you took a great idea and whored it out to becoming a skank. So, does everything have to be about you? Are you so low of a skank that you can't handle something good or pure.

          Lastly though, retracing what I wrote before. My picture now may be "professionally" done but at one point it was real. Most of all, it is who I truly am so at least I'm honest there.

          Weither your picture is truly you or not only you would truly know. It didn't have to be without color but whatever floats your boat. However, if it isn't you, than you are truly more sad than I could ever comment on.

    If I'm interested in the subject matter I will try to read it. If the person is uneducated and it looks like gibberish, I will not take the time to decipher it. If the font is too small and they don't separate their ideas into paragraphs, I will just skim. I have the same problem, too, in that I just don't know when to stop.

      Thank you, I agree with you too. I'm sorry I am stuck in an argument and it was nice to see that at least someone took this story for what it actually was. I will leave you out of the current argument I am having but it mostly started by me commenting on how I hate shortsighted or childish writing and would rather read something with proper grammar used.

      Well at least someone does. I got my ass handed to me as certain others don't like the idea of me standing up for myself.

      I started work today and they are really happy with me so I have a lot less time but I will take a little time off and then write more later. Anyways, if you truly did enjoy them, I will help you. I reopened up my profile so you can read all that I wrote.

      All in all though, I am tired of fighting with a child and acting like a child myself so I am taking a break, for my own sake.

      I have stopped writing for a little while, both due to moving and then schooling but I would like to continues to comment where needed in a little while. Thank you so much for letting me know it is worth it and people do read them.

      As I stated above, I usually skim what I am reading but if it is a topic that interest me, I will read everything offered.

    OK, I get that you like to write something long and well thought out and hope people will take the time to read it. If people are interested they will read it, and if you are trying to reach a more intelligent audience then you will. But not reading other peoples things yet wanting others to read your writing seems a bit selfish.
