Is it normal to think that my parents gave up on family times¿

I mean the last few times we did something it started out as "ok we are going to go out and have fun on (insert day)" and then the day comes and we do nothing fun. Like just the last time we were supposed to go out and have fun as a whole but they just took me and my bro to Gamestop and then we went home and they left till dinner. -_- <-- face on that day. Is it normal to feel that they just don't care anymore¿

    Your parents job is not to entertain you. Be happy you have 2 parents as most kids these days dont. Not trying to be a jerk but your idea of a bad day is them taking you to gamestop? Sorry for being a little harsh but im just trying to be honest with ya.

      It's not harsh but a family day is when the family does something that day. Not just get something and be gone for the rest of the day. "a bad day is them taking you to gamestop" no thats a good day but when they say that we will do something as a family and not that's a bad day.

    That's too bad. Show them that you appreciate family time.
    Some parents think material items is all the kids need. This is a good example of that myth, being busted.
