Is it normal to think that i am nothing and no one in life?

And that my sole purpose in life to exist is to make life easier for those who are worthy and accomplished and if i can't do that, then there is no reason for me to exist.

My purpose is to become accomplished so that I can help those I care about. So that I can show my daughter I do love her, that I've been a fool for such a long time. I don't want to be a disappointment to her or my family any longer. Threatening me is not an accomplishment.

  • The purpose in life is to find your purpose.
Everyone has a purpose, some people just don't know what it is yet.
Nobodies purpose should be to do what they don't enjoy.

But what if you didn't enjoy living, how would you ever find your purpose? How can someone's purpose not be something they don't enjoy when they don't like living in general? They don't like anything at all, except from death, does that mean they don't have a purpose, or is their purpose to die? I wonder that from time to time.

      • Unfortunately I cannot answer all your questions but I can possibly give some advice.
I can say I have felt like I could not enjoy anything before. The solution for me was being heavily medicated on various psych drugs. A lot of people are against them but they happened to work great for me and are sometimes the answer when you're severely mentally ill.
Find something you can tolerate doing. Being indifferent is better than being miserable.
Find something to laugh at. Even if you have to force a smile it sends good signals to your brain.
Find a hobby. Hobbies have saved my life. Without my hobbies I would have no motivation to do anything and would probably still be miserable despite being medicated.
        Good luck.

Yeah, I feel like I'm wasting a life. I don't do anything significant, and everyone in my life ignores me. Sometimes I question whether I actually exist. Haha But I oddly found meditation and mindfulness to be tremendously helpful.

You can't be nothing, you can only be something.
You're quite lucky to be born, out of the millions of little sperms you were the only one that made it. THEY all died for you!

It's not normal to think like this but unfortunately I have nothing to tell that could make you feel different or better.

I don't think you are nothing or have no reason. But I think you need a better one than that. I have somewhat of a martyr personality myself but I would like to think peace and happiness are in the mix for me too.

Do you think it's a possibility for you?
