Is it normal to think that cunnilingus is overrated?

Whenever I read that women enjoy receiving oral sex (cunnilingus), I get the feeling that it is a little bit exaggerated. I mean, especially in sex columns in women´s magazines, online websites and in other texts written by "sexperts" it is often stated that women reach orgasms more easily by oral sex and how much they love it etc. but in reality it seems that they still value penetrative sex much more than oral sex or at least that receiving oral sex is not as exciting to them as it is supposed to be by different "sexperts". It seems to me that they are more sexually aroused by other sexual activities (maybe activities where the man is more dominant?) than by cunnilingus (which they might perceive as a nice form of foreplay but not as something which gives them "mindblowing orgasms" or "super high levels of sexual arousal."

So my question is: What do you think of the statement: "Cunnilingus is overrated" ? Do you agree or disagree?

I am a man and I agree that it is overrated 8
I am a man and I disagree with the statement 19
I am a woman and I agree that it is overrated 13
I am a woman and I disagree with the statement 12

I realized this like a year ago. the clit is kindof like a tiny female penis... And a mans asshole is kind of like his male vagina LOL Tmi. But seriously, if a guy get anal, his protate is up there, so yes he can orgasm, but it's not as likely to happen by the time your partner is done. If he is stimutedl "Penile" He will go for sure. For women, me being one, I know that vaginally, I don't always orgasm, but through oral I always do. So I wouldn't say over rated

No I disagree. The clit is the center of female pleasure. This clutter of nerves is why women experience both the external and internal orgasm. Some women can't have internal orgasms. A few women can't orgasm at all.

As for the sexperts. Well the sexual revolution began in the late 50s/early 60s. What were the first sexperts doing? Oh yeah, they were getting sent to prison for publishing books on orgasms and trying to give condoms to unmarried couples. This whole "sexpertise" thing is still really new in our culture. Don't knock it down so quickly.
