Is it normal to think so much you disconnect from reality?

Most of the time when I am doing random things or at work my mind is constantly racing to the point where I can't pay attention to anything else. For example people could be calling my name and I wouldn't realize they were doing it for at least 5 seconds or I will be performing a task and either forget about it or start doing something else. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it ADD?

It is happening to many because reality isn't REAL at all! As you awaken from your dream you will SEE! Don't (worry) it's a waste of time. We are all awakening at different times and EVERYTHING is going to be BEAUTIFUL! BTW I awakened 11/11/11 after 50 years of sleep. The whole world & reality was 180 degrees out. We are coming out of the darkness & if there is such a thing as normal then yes what your experiencing IS normal.

No it's not normal. Occasional fine, but not a 'normal' thing.

I get that sometimes. I wouldn't jump the gun, and say that it's A.d.d. though. But you're probably just in such deep thought that you aren't focusing on what's going on around you.

You most likely don't have ADD, you just are bored. There are more symptoms to ADD than just the attention detail. You can look it up on Wikipedia.

Although I'm not gonna lie, I do this too. Alot. But I have other symptoms and 90% of them actually fit for ADD. but I've never gotten tested for it. lol.
