Is it normal to think sandwiches taste better as triangles?
When a sandwich is cut diagonally to form two triangles, it seems to taste better than when just cut in the middle into rectangles. Does anyone else agree, is it normal to think this?

It's because we taste with the eyes before actually tasting for real.
I think alike.
This reminds me of my little sisters when they were younger. . .
They wouldn't eat their sandwich if its wasn't cut diagonally. . .
I like de-crusted sandwiches cut into pentagons and little heart shapes. The latter seem to make me feel romantic so I have to be careful around girls.
It's easier to avoid more crust in one mouthful! I think the smaller the food the tastier! Cut it into 4s or try cutting it into little bite size pieces!
I guess it does !.Perhaps when cut into triangles our desire to eat it increases.

Of course they taste better. Everyone knows the hypotenuse is the most delicious part of the sandwich.
I agree! There is a longer biting area without crusts than in the two rectangles. And as AppleMind says, four small triangles are even better!
Of course, the crusts still have to be eaten, no matter how the sandwich is cut, but the more crust-free biting areas, the better!
I don't know if it's normal or not, but I've always thought that too. Maybe it's a psychological thing left over from when we were kids and our moms used to cut our sandwiches that way? idk
I prefer when the sandwich is cut diagnally both ways to form four triangles.
