I think public school teachers are WAAAY overpaid, considering the perks and benefits they get and the short amount of time they work per school year! If you kook at the numbers with an open mind, the amount teachers get paid is outrageous and a ripoff!
I believe teachers are underpaid for what they do, especially public school teachers. They do a lot of things outside of schools hours.
It depends on the area you live in, but they have to deal with a lot. They also had to get an education to be where they're at, so I think it's alright.
If youre a single person not trying to raise a family, you'll be paid enough as a teacher but for those that have children, they really dont make enough to support their families. A lot of the teachers at my old school had to have a second job
