Is it normal to think others in your dreams know they are there?

I get the distinct impression people I dream about, who I know, actually know they are in my dream. Possibly parallel dreaming, where your having the same dream or at least a part of it as another person and your dreams entwine. Do you think they get the impression your in there dreams? Ive never asked anyone but it happens with family too, not that ive asked them either.

    I think its possible and reasonable but if thats true, then I could be in some trouble. I often will be in a dream and realize that I am just dreaming so then I decide to give into my darkest desires and things get messed up fast. I don't know how this happens though because I feel as if I can't rationally think about my decisions, instead I just do whatever I am capable that I desire.

    Anything is possible. I've had strange dreams before and the people i dreamed about look at me awkwardly. Might just be all in the head. Who knows....

    i can't say its impossible. My sister and i, we're false twins, and sometimes we had the same dream, or the same kind of dreams. It happended to my cousin and to me, we had the same kind of dreams. But i don't think they know you dreamt of them. Maybe it's just a thought.
