If you are interested in Asperger's Syndrome then look it up. Asperger's is Autism, but it depends where it is on the Autistic spectrum.

Many people show symptoms that are similar to Aspergers, it doesn't mean you have it. And even those that do, they often don't even realise it and lead basically normal lives.

To be honest, many of the 'symptoms' are actually a manifestation of today's lifestyles and relationships, I wouldn't worry about it unless it has a significantly negative impact on your life.

I am in the same boat, except for being introverted which idk what that means, but I feel I'm the person my friends/family are talking about when they bring up mental illnesses/aspergers or autism specifically. Haven't had the courage to ask them about it though although it would be a huge relief to know so I wouldn't worry about the unknown.

One reason for people talking about it, could be because it's a topic that is often in the media now, as there's been an increase in awareness of autism and AS generally. If you suspect that you have it, IMO it would be best to check if that's the case, so you know for sure. There are online tests that can give you an indication as well as advice and contacts. There are also specialized forums for people with Social Anxiety and/or AS supporting each other.

Based on what you've described there is a chance you may have it and there's quite a possibility that you don't. No one on here is going to be able to tell you if you do or don't. My question to you is...what would it mean to you to find out either way? Would it give you a sense or releif? Cause more stress? Would it help you find a job or recurve some type of services? Are you currently happy with your life? If you are looking for help or answers to your questions it might be worth looking in to. If you are happy and successful in life than who cares what strangers say. Good luck and I hope you find the answer you're looking for.
