Is it normal to think of experimenting with my best friend?

My best friend and I are really close, he and I get along like brothers and hang out a lot. But I kind of have feelings for him? I think I really just see him as a brotherly best friend, but there are some times when we're together where it gets...different. When we sit on the couch watching movies, we kind of touch or sit close. I never react or say anything, and neither does he. When we have sleepovers we sleep closely and almost stuff. And one time when we were drunk we were kind of cuddly. He seems pretty straight, (I'm personally down the middle of the road), but there are times when he's kind of gay and I know orientation is grayed. Does he seem interested?
