...when she asks me to show her how to use a screwdriver?!? A table saw, a band saw, yes, but a screwdriver? How do I respond to that? "Oh, sure honey, flat blade does these types of screws, the ones that look like crosses, use this one. It's called a phillips head." The kicker here is that she's used screwdrivers before, so I don't know. I'm confused.

It's a very normal human reaction to think someone who doesnt understand something that is second nature to you is unintelligent. I do it all the time. Just understand she likely isn;t intending to annoy you.
Sounds like something i would ask my husband.. Not because i really need to know, either i just want attention or i want him to feel important. I wouldnt overthink it, just give it a good chuckle and move on! :)
It may be her attempt to just increase the communication and connections between the two of you. Showing interest in things you do in hopes that it will be reciprocated and that your relationship will grow as a result. Or she's just hoping you'll have more fun doing it than she does.
I think even if she was serious, you need to get over it. Its not a big deal. You prob do stupid things all the time too.
