Is it normal to think monogamy is pointless
I'm an Asexual female by the way. Anyway, I see people causing arguments, stressing, becoming insecure, spying, and just going through all kinds of emotional hell over their mate "cheating". If I were with a dude, I would know that I had no right to tell him who he is to be happy around or show affection to whatsoever! It is his body, his mind and his emotions and I cannot and don't wish to control them. It's wrong, male or female. I know that there is a problem with overpopulation but this is not the way to control it if that was ever a reason. It doesn't make sense, if you can love all members of your family or both of your cats or more than one friend then you can have more than one person as a mate. You would have to worry about the spread of std's but most get tested before intercourse or wear rubbers, or if they're REALLY awesome, they will adopt asexy ;). But seriously monogamy is retarded and outdated........like religion ;)
