Is it normal to think men like curvy girls more?

Skinny girls want to be curvy and curvy girls want to be skinny, you're all beautiful so don't worry about it :)

I go through phases. I was in a curvy girl phase for quite a number of years and, for whatever reason, I'm in a petite girl phase at the moment. I could be happy with anyone but I seem to notice slim girls more. Same goes for women below about 5'6". Maybe I just want to date an elf or something.

I don't think so. I think guys who like girls just like... girls. Skinny or curvy; short or tall; black, white, Asian or Hispanic... so long as you're a girl and you put a bit of thoughtful effort into how you look there will be guys who find you attractive :)

In those videos or even just videos of girls a lot of the comments will be about their looks. I wouldn't take them too seriously. Not everyone likes the same type or strictly one type of figure. I think petite girls are cute and if I liked girls that's the type I'd be most attracted to.

I prefer thin girls with small boobs but of course not overly thin like pro-ana or something.

I´m not a fan of large butts, so no curves is perfectly OK with me. If I had to choose between 1)no curves, not overweight and 2)curves, large butt and overweight, I´d choose the first one.

I do not write about personality because the question was about appearance, not because I do not care about it.

To answer your actual question, yes. It is normal to think that men would want a curvier woman because biologically and culturally speaking, curvier women were/are considered to be more fertile and better equipped to have a child (which is biology's role in gender and sex). There was a time when humans didn't survive infancy and our lifespans were shorter, so evolution built in a detector to hint at who might be more likely to actually succeed at procreation. Obviously now we have no issue reproducing even if you have health issues (IVF, surrogacy, adoption) and skinny people easily give birth to children just as often and easily as curvier women do. Our lifespans are longer and if anything, we're having children way later in life than is logical*, so it's not really necessary to find the right partner the first time and have a child by 16 because you expect to be dead by 33 (biblical time frame of life expectancy). Science aside...

But when it comes to what we like individually, it's really up to the guy. I personally like girls with a little more weight to them (i.e. not super skinny) and I'm really attracted to darker skinned girls (latina, black, meditteranean, Asian...) as opposed to blond, pale Caucasians. Other physical attributes don't really matter to me... I would prefer a girl be positive overall about life and have goals for yourself... a great personality in other words. Most guys would agree.

Wear steel-boned corsets for a few years, (22/23 hours a day) you will have lots of curves. It will make your waist go inward.

I think skinny girls with small boobs are hot. My favorite, actually.

I am skinny too, with 32 A chest and size 25 for pants. My friends told me that I am too skinny and that made me feel depressed and sad.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad or anything, but I will say it as it is. Yes, curvy girls look sexier in my opinion. Skinny can be sexy too, depending on the girl, maybe you're that type of girl. If you want to change that though, then the obvious answer is to gain more weight and do some squats as I heard that gives your more "butt". You probably won't ever look like Beyonce but you can do exercises to give your body more shape. I don't know any but look on the internet.

I don't know why, but I think I've been naturally gifted in this sense, for some reason I have long slender legs but I'm curvy. I'm not perfect though.

I have a naturally tubby stomach, not fat, just a little pudge. So I will never have a fully flat stomach :c I bet YOU have a flat stomach, so be proud girl!

"Curvy" has a lot of different meanings. Some people will call a 5'4' 260 lb woman "curvy" because she's downright obese. Some curves are really nice like in the breast area and certain people, especially black and Hispanics like fat women. There are white chubby chasers too but the you will find it's the athletic and thin women who land the best men.

Does not matter your race. Just do not dress like a tomboy and you will be fine with finding any guy you want. I prefer curvy women but have been extremely attracted to skinny girls also. My current girlfriend is white and curvy, race not a factor about the body type, and before her, I was madly, almost obsessed with a very slender girl.

I don't think this is particularly true. The pressure to be thin is a lot greater. Be happy that you're at least 70 percent of the way towards having a perfect figure and wear padded bras if you want a boost.

Every man has different tastes but I know very few men that will flat out not be interested in a girl if she is attractive but "curvy" or "skinny".

Some men seem to feel more attraction to certain women than others but honestly, good looking is good looking to most of them so don't think too much about it. Every body type has it's appeal.

it's true that a lot of men likes curves and big butts and what nots but understand this that 90% is just physical/sexual attraction. if u think a guy will want to marry u for ur curves, u r very wrong. we men are not so different from women the way I see it.. we like girls the way they are as a person not just their body, excluding the ones who just wants to get in the pants or have a social status like having a "hot gf".

In my opinion, i think a lot of guys hide the fact that they don't necessarily like curvy figures or big butts because the way they see it in the media(rap songs, celebs etc)is that men are suppose to like women like that, therefore they try to fit in by not admitting they prefer cute girls or chubby girls scared that they might be judged as 'not manly' or 'gay'

im really not good at explainings things properly so i rarely comment(English not my Lang). but seeing this post i wanted to get my point across n I hope many others who reads this will feel more comfortable in their skin and less insecure. u don't have to compare urself to magazine girls just look at he mirror and be proud of r own figure!

Think about this: If you magically did have curves (a big butt), wouldn't you feel just a bit self-conscious? Because all the guys now-a-days ARE rapping about big butts. So wouldn't you be worried that every time you turn away from guys, their eyes immediately dart to your butt?
