Is it normal to think laws exist for no reason?

Aside from humanity, nature has its own rules and there is no jury, no judge and no punishment. The food chain is the ultimate deciding factor. We have corrupted this and are primed for a large correction from nature to remind us of exactly how small we really are.

Well anyway, is it normal to think we need laws to protect those who can't protect themselves, and those same laws aren't really going to matter when the shit hits the fan?

Aren't laws really to keep the shit from hitting the fan?
I'm not saying I'm in favor of our 'nanny society' however, without laws the shit would hit the fan pretty much all the time, every day for most people.

I love when a person realizes that we are animals too. So much unjustified anthropocentrism in the world today

      • That's mostly a bunch of bullshit, it only works now because we don't have to struggle kill/catch our own food.
