Is it normal to think kids shows these days stink!

I so know what you mean, like wtf gives with cartoons like ben 10 and whatnot? Sigh, I miss the original Sonic, Mario Bros, and Zelda.

Its all about morals and lessons because parents these days are too busy to raise there own damn kids, and just plonk them down in front of the tv.

If they can at least make the show entertaining while doing so, then i think its Ok. MLP:fim does this (especially in the first season), but still is humorous and entertaining,(like when Derpy and RD destroyed the town hall) and Fairly oddparents does this a little (be careful what you wish for), but,its still funny to laugh at how stupid cosmo is, or at when Crocker fails at grabbing timmys faries.

These two that you can still have a show with both a lesson and stupid humor.

but yes, I do mourn the lack of cartoons with stupid humor in general, but like anything else, it goes in cycles. (after all, compare 50s and 90s cartoons, and look at the crap of the 70s and 80s [Captain Planet, Anyone?], granted, the 80s gave us transformers, so it wasnt all bad )

Yes god forbid our children learn something besides "how to beat up your friends" or "how to tell your sister to get out of your room"

They have to learn somewhere, our schools certainly aren't teaching them anything!

You want to talk about bad programing? OK! how about "sponge bob" or "total drama action" (or what ever that's stupid show is called), "phinias & ferb", or "the grim adventures of Billy & Mandy"??? Those shows are horrible!

But if you don't like the kiddy shows then don't watch Nick Jr.!

They dont make them like they used to. Courage the cowardly dog,powerpuff girls, dexters lab,scooby-doo,those are classics. Idk whats goin on these days. That damn disney channel with its hanna montanas and these justine beefer has turned my 11yo bro gay.

Alright i don't like regular show but chowder! Great one! And spongbob! But yeah I wish that sesame street was still awesome. And not overun by Michele Obama.

what about good luck charlie, regular show, ant, icarly. those rock, but i do miss the old shows like BOBBY'S WORLD. I GO TO YOOUTUBE AND WATCH THEM.
