I don't care whatever violent crime stats the libertardians bring up, guns are dangerous and they ruin everything. A few days ago, I saw a nice car on the street I wanted to have so I could make some money. The problem was there was a guy sitting in it on the passenger side. No problem, I thought, I'd just scare him into getting out. So I smash the driver side window with my knife ready and yell at him to get out. And you know what happens, he pulls out a fucking gun! So of course I had to run, I was in trouble. My life was in danger that day, and it's all because of guns. If we didn't let people have them, I wouldn't need to be afraid. And the most ridiculous thing is that I had to run from my home because now the police are after ME, even though I'm the one who could have died. Everything is so fucked up in this Republican country.

    I see what you did there, I want the freedom to own guns but Australia followed the U.K and all have been disarmed. You need to go through all this police clearance to have guns here, I have but it takes along time >.<

    That guy was protecting himself and his property! I'm not surprised I mean, some dude just crashed his car window about to pull a knife on him or something I would be freaked out too! Don't go breaking into people's cars and you won't have this problem!

    Obvious troll but still made me laugh! Gun control would be the worst thing to happen to the USA.. Take away people's right to defend themselves then what do you do when the government tries to take control of everything? Military has all the guns and you have to do whatever the heck Mr. Pres wants. Gun control is bad! The best way to make guns safer is to teach children gun safety at an early age and always under adult (not age wise, maturity wise) supervision. They grow up knowing about Guns and how dangerous they are then they'll know what it means to be a gun owner!
    Heck first thing I did when I turned 18 was buy a rifle! It's my way of saying I support the government.. By showing them WE are the government!

    Normal, to disagree with firearms available to the general public.

    Rather silly, to think the guy would pull out a knife when there are so many guns available to any phoquer walking into Wallmart.

    Guns kill.
    They are things to be put in the right hands and not widely available to every wannabe car jackin, serial killing, gangbanging, partner shooting, homicidal, suicidal individual. Gun control is a good thing.

    Also, it is important to deal with the motives for acts of violence. With the motives dealt with the acts cease and all are less aggreived.

      Guns are only a tool, kind of like a razor blade when a person shaves their face. People in prison kill each other with shanks made of razor blades, oh hell. Lets all ban razor blades and grow beards. Oh yeah and the woman would also have hairy pits and non-buffed beavers. Lets ban the razor blade because criminals kill with it :)
