Is it normal to think in the 3rd person in your own head ?

Well like the title says I always think in the 3rd person. Eg. Katherine was tired and fed up, but she had to help clean the house or she would feel bad.... And so on but I do it in my head, instead of talking to myself, it's like a running commentary. Does anyone else do this? is it normal ?

I don't, but it sounds cool. Kinda reminds me of that movie Stranger than fiction.

The majority of the girls I have dated did that, at least part time if not all time! The last girl I dated even had a nickname for herself in 3rd person!

I am dying to know what the nickname was... Was it snugglepuss?

Sammi Wammie Woo. She always said it like "scrappy dappy doo!"

I used to go out with a Katherine (more usually a Katie) and she was always referring to herself in the third person. Katie wants pizza. Katie needs you to massage her back. Katie wants you to undress her and [censored to protect the innocent].

Maybe it's something that Katherines do.

Bah. I know. All I was going to say was how [censored] she was with her [censored] when the [censored] was pushed right up against [censored] and that little [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] trumpetsex.

That seems like it would be cute and annoying at the same time.

You've summed it up perfectly. It was cute when she was being funny or sexy but when she was ill and said things like "Katie want paracetamol NOW", I used to think I'd have gone the extra mile more often if she'd have just said, "Could you bring me a painkiller, please?"
