I've only seen the movie once but ever since I did, it changed my perspective on everything. Sometimes I seriously consider the fact we may all be hardwired into some software. It freaks me out. Once, I went out and didn't go home for 3 days because I was trying to find a way out. I strongly believe that it is possible we are all just lines of code in a matrix. IIN?

    We do live in the matrix, society made everything up. Most ppl can't think for themselves anymore they go by what tv says or other people, and are sheep and don't even know it. I KNOW w live in a matrix. There's no question about it

    The Matrix is a metaphor for our existence. You ARE in the Matrix, albeit the real one, not the metaphor of the film.

    This story made me laugh.
    Dont believe everything you see on TV. While everything is a possibility, I doubt that most of us are special enough to find our way "out".

    totally normal thought. have you ever read plato's allegory of the cave? the question of reality and self has had philosophers debating for centuries.

    I find it so weird that I came across this story, because last night I had a strange dream about the matrix. But yeah, I could understand why you'd feel that way. I've thought of weird things like this before too.

    Seriously though, the movie is just that, a movie. The matrix is a metaphor and nothing more. As real as it seemed in the movie, sorry to tell you, it isn't.
