Is it normal to think i am the sum of all my mistakes in life?

who i am, what i am can basically be boiled down to the things i do right and wrong in life. i am the sum of my mistakes or the things i do "right" in life and because i have never been satisfied with anything i have done "right", my whole life is a mistake, i am a mistake.

Reading that does ring a bell with me, and I think I may have had thoughts/feelings along those lines.

I also think you shouldn't think that way. You are what you are now. Hopefully, you learn from your mistakes, and you'll be a better you because of it.

Well why don't you change your attitude and try and do better from now on.

    • how can i change my attitude, i pour my entire existence into everything i do, i go to work sick, i work out until i am bleeding or have pulled muscles, i have literally given the shirt off my back to people who needed it (lately it was for a homeless person, i was almost tempted to give them my car, i felt so bad for them), i give all of my savings to charity and do not ask for a charity receipt. i allow everyone to ask anything of me and i never say no to them and i try to go above and beyond in trying to please them. i do not do a single thing for myself (i don't feel i am deserving, yet)

You're letting your purpose defeat you...that sorta defeats the purpose.
