    They are a good band, but there are much more badass bands out there, such as Mötörhead, or 90's Pantera.

    Sadly, it's normal. Likely a result of your not being exposed to enough other music. :) But I know a lot of people who are into them.

    I really enjoyed Godsmack for their first album, and a little into their second I realized I don't actually like them much anymore... they sound too much like a poorly-built mash-up of other bands that I actually do like.
