I think GOD is taking his vengeance on the earth.... because of all the gays and crimes against our lord... is this normal?
I'm SO glad I don't believe in a god(s) or other mythical creatures. I pity people like you who are held hostage by such ridiculous beliefs.
I respect Christianity, but idiots who insult gays and other people are the messed up ones. How could you hate someone for loving someone else? Doesn't god tell everyone he loves them, and for them to love everyone? How can he create something as a punishment? What did the gays ever do to you?
Isn't there so many more things to hate on this earth? Like how big company's use poor people from third world countries to make their products, and rarely get paid? What about the abuse in the world? The corrupted law systems? The murders?
If there is so much worse things in the world, why hate the people who's only crime they commited was to love another person?
God isn't punishing us. We are doing it to ourselves. Free will. Shame on us.
I think many people believe that God is punishing us but I also believe those who believe that fall short of really knowing God. God loves us so much that He gave us his son and watched Him suffer for us. God never promised us an easy life, Christian or not. We just have to trust in him that he will provide and He alwys does.
I could spend all day punching holes through this question but I'll stick with one good example.
Originally humans were united under one language some would refer to as the original tongue. This is confirmed by the current King James version of the Roman bible. This was possible because of the common language.
As it was near completion god saw fit to strike down the humans before they were able to finish it. He confounded their tongues and they were not able to understand eachother any longer. By direction this act contributed to the separation and misunderstanding of all human life. This can be construed to be the basis of confusion and anger as no one could understand eachother. Great confusion lead to anger, anger lead to fighting and so to it lead to war.
By direction your god is the creator of war. Wrap your head around that little brain teaser.

Even if the god in the bible exists (which he probably doesn't) I STILL wouldn't worship him! He's cruel, jealous, evil. Satan, from reading the bible, seems to has done less to damage humanity!!! It's sooooooooo flawed.
Sir GOD made heaven and earth... he can certainly intervene in a matter stopping birth defects in inbreeding. Its a matter of a intial bottle neck. Also we all have free will. So yes there will be war and evil do-ers but that is that persons choice. We can choose to come together and make this world better or we do what we are now and have famine, war and death.

The bible says that there were only Adam and Eve in the beginning. So, does that mean all humans are inbred?
And also IF there is a god and he is perfect, why did he not make us perfect? He would rather watch his creations die of famines, and diseases. So in a sense either god doesn't exist or he created humans because he's a sicko and likes to watch his creations suffer.

I believe in "god", but not at the level of following him obsessively my whole life. I believe he's either inside us (not literally) and in nature in general.
and I can tell you easily why people die -
what would happen if NOBODY died? The entire earth would be bunched up by a number you can't imagine. Then we'd be living in a f*cking waste land with endless suffering and you'd have to scrunch up in the corner to breath, and pretty soon, it'll be so scrunched up you won't have enough air. But you can't die, so you'd just suffer with a endless amount of people trying to get a comfortable spot somewhere instead of being squished.
Think about it, seriously.

Kitty-chick i believe you are mistaken. Large companies help those poor nations by offering them work. Without that they would have nothing. Large corporations take a lot of heat because they earn profits ... guess what they also donate a lot of money.... look at even evil bank of america. They donate millions and paid the tarps funds back early with millions of dollars in interest. Yet everyone hates them ( me included for service reasons). Point being dont point your finger at the companies, look at the country and wonder why are they so poor. Does their government help its people. Do they elect the same corupt people over and over again. Probably the answer is yes they do. Look at us we elect idiots... and wonder why our goverment allows lobbist and our economy is going down the tubes. We elected people who deliberately send our jobs overseas ... how stupid are we.
