Is it normal to think everyone else is abnormal?
I try to like people, I really do, but everyone just seems so messed up in one way or another. Therefore, I am unable to get too close to anyone. I don't trust the sons of bitches.

Wow, where to start. First of all, you're projecting all of your faults onto other people, and you can't stand to see yourself in the mirror. Secondly, you have FIS, which is fear of intimacy, and thirdly, you're intolerant and judgemental, which was probably how you were raised. Question is, are you satisfied te way you are? If the answer is no, get your butt into group therapy, and learn to accept yourself and others, before you die lonely.
Ok, you are case in point...the exact reason why I do not like most people. Talk about judgmental. Sheesh. You don't even know me, dude, yet you're claiming I do or am all the things you mentioned simply because I am disillusioned with most people. Not cool, pal.
I've met a couple of people, literally I think 3, who have a pretty good shell around them. Get too close and they're probably pop you in the eye, some people just don't want to get to know others and its ok. But just for the record, not everyone you meet is out to hurt you, and I'm sure in some way you're messed up yourself, so why not try to find some like minded friends, cause I know that people like you aren't that difficult to find.
I know plenty of people who are good to me in most ways. My problem is people's general attitudes and behaviors. The way they are toward each other, other living creatures, and children. I cannot tolerate spending much time around most people and I'm okay with that. Was just curious to see how many others might agree. Not surprised to see there weren't any. You know why? Cause you're all pretty fucked up.
