I love emoticons, animated or not. If I'm just joking but my statement could be taken in an offensive way, a =P is the perfect way to show I'm only being jokey.
Emotions are very limited in todays world which is why i wouldnt say i have many emotions.
I mean it seems that instead of people loving another they actualy just love the idea of love which misses the whole point of love.
I dont feel love often but I understand it more than most.

idk...a shorthand for feeling is useful when one is short on time and characters. In this scenario, I think you're some kind of PointDexter to write screeds about an emotion that an emoticon can convey in 3 characters.
It can get obnoxious if it's used over and over but then again everything grates on the nerves when over used.
