I don't like arm tattoos on women. Not on strippers, models, uglies, fats, skinnies, blacks, whites or whatevers. I think it looks too butchy and unattractive.
ALL tattoos regardless of WHERE make women look taky, and take away big time from their femininity...!!!
Women were not created with tattoos so why try and improve on something that wasn't meant to be...?

There are many sexy places on the body for women to have tattoos, such as the shoulder, ankle, small of the back, and even small ones on a toe. But a tattoo on the arm (which are normally larger sized), to me, are trashy looking, low class, and tacky.
I just saw Melissa Gilbert on Dancing With The Stars with the worst kind of arm tatoo, a curving around the arm one! Simply awful. On her, on Pam Anderson, and on Angelin! Jolie as well.
The fact is, women, for the most part, wear less clothing than men. When a woman has to look appropriate, for whatever reason, showing an arm tattoo just brings to mind the old man sailor tattoos. That's not how I want to look in a sexy gown or a bathing suit.
Arm tattoos look bad enough on most guys, and I, for one, am a girl who loves her tats, but want mine to represent my femininity and not my "bad girl" side.
JMO, though. Glad I'm not alone on this.
It depends what kind of tats. I sometimes talk with Anthony Raneri's gf (from the band Bayside), and she has a lot of tats on her arms and chest. They look good on her.
Of corse girls that get tats like them and don't think they are trashy. It's also their choice. But other people also have the right to judge, judging is natural for humans. As soon as you access someones race, sex, dress, you are judging. If you think you don't judge you are delusional. People have the right to pass judgement just as people have the right to get tattoed
I have my whole arm tattooed as well as my stomach, back, feet etc. I couldn't care less if people think I look butch or tacky. You're probably upset because you have some really bad tattoos. Go see a good artist and get them covered up. Either that or stop living in the 60s and being a sexist pig

Yea, that's true. Sleeves I suppose are pretty hot depending on the quality and direction of the art. When posting the question, I was originally only thinking of a rebel flag on the arm or barbed wire or some crap. Those "single" tats on the upper arm I think are nasty.
I don't like tattoos on a womens arms or legs. I do think if a women has a sleeve or a half sleeve can be very sexy but stuff like that hideous dragon that Angelina Jolie has or that ugly ass heart with Antonio on Melanie Griffith's arm ewwww.
Arm tattoos on women are very ugly. Even beautiful artwork, takes beauty away from any girl.
Stomach tattoos are worse IMO.
I don't think it's normal. Personally I find tatoos rediculously hot.
And it is a good point, if you've only seen chicks with bad, lame tatoos, then that was your first impression and there hard to change. Just keep your eyes peeled for good tatoos and girls that know how to carry them.

Tattoos can be hot, bad tattoos look bad. Ghetto old English prison tats are trashy. But go buy an issue of Tattoo magazine and tell me there are not some really hot women in there with some really elaborate body ink.
Yes totally normal. I don't like tattoos PERIOD on women bc I find it masculine and trashy. The only thing I wouldn't mind is the initials of their husband under their wedding ring.
I like them & think theyre very sexy, but its all about what YOU like. Dont make assumptions that theyre trashy or pass judgement tho, just bc people like different things.
