A few months ago, my older cousin was getting married. She talked to me in private on the day of the wedding about how much debt she avoided (like I gave rat's ass) and how she was thinking about an old boyfriend and how he was doing and where he was. I didn't know what to do and watched her get married anyway. Are you supposed do this?
Well, she was getting ready to promise to spend the rest of her life with someone, surely its normal to think of how differently her life could have been. Who she could have been getting married to on that day rather then her now husband. I see it as normal, its sort of like looking back on past decisions and journeys and then comparing it to how your life is today. It isnt like she said she wished she was marrying her ex? Dont worry about it x
I guess it's normal to have people who have impacted your life and what might have been as long as your heart is in the right place. Def not cool to talk w your exs if your getting married though.
