Is it normal to think about your boyfriend alot

Okay hey guys. So I started going out with this guy Sept 16 2013. Like we have past history that ended horribly but I never really got over him. So we gave it another shot and things are going perfectly. Lol but I can never stop thinking about him. Is that normal? I know we just started dating like a month ago.. not even. But I honestly think about him every second we aren't together.

Yes, it is normal. Your brain wirings are messing up with you. You think of him before/after sleeping, eating, shitting, reading, studying, watching tv, basically anything you do. Wondering what he is doing right now. His text/call will bring a smile in your face. Meeting him up will bring an excitement. You will not be able to focus to do anything because of him.

On my birthday? That's quite a coincidence.

      On my brothers birthday too.
Thought it was strange seeing the date, THEN you said it was YOUR birthday. Seems to be getting stranger.
Maybe this girl's birthday is mine, and its the same as your sisters?
ok I've stopped now. What was the question again?

Totes normal. My bf and I have been together for almost 4 years and I still think about him all the time. I feel like the "honeymoon" phase hasn't ended yet.

  • I think about girls a lot if they are butt sluts.

Why are you thinking about my boyfriend so much, whorish homewrecker?

Normal. It's called the honeymoon period. It doesn't last though.

Speak for your self; 26 months and we are still in that "honeymoon" period.
      I guess we are lucky.

It's known to last about 3 years. Enjoy the next 10 months while you can.

What a pessimistic view on relationships. How sad.

Realism has always just been an excuse for pessimism.

      • No, that's because you two are trapped on a little boat and don't have anyone else around.

        Not much choice.

And btw, 26 months isn't shit for time dude.

Things get sticky after 4+ years and the longer it goes the less interested she'll/you'll generally be.

You're an old man and been married twice before and you don't know this?

        Dude.

It's called the "honeymoon phase".... look it up for the psychology behind it.

  • She does sound young, inexperienced and insecure.

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't one of her first boyfriends (Probably less than 6 total).

sounds a little obsessive or insecure. i suggest you try to reel it in a little...

think about it: if you told HIM this, how do you think he'd react?

  • I've never understood why anyone does this.
