Yes, but only with females it seems. I don't do this often, but it's more likely I'll pull a female stranger into my fantasy. With men the personality is a little more important so it's unlikely I would fantasize about a male i don't know well. Although usually i just make people up in my head, but i guess they're based on someone I've seen somewhere.
