ever since i'v seen the movie 'it' based on the book by stephen king i have been scared of clowns.i don't know why but just the thought of a clown any where near me i start having a panic attack from hell.is that normal?
When I was a kid the plumber scared me, so naturally some dude with crazy purple hair, white and red makeup and a puffy nose going around acting like a freak scared the living shit out of me. I don't understand why people are the slightest bit amused by them. I guess little kids in the 1800s were totally blown away by them; you couldn't find anything cooler than a clown if you lived in the 1800s. Which just goes to show how incredibly fucked up little kids must have been in the 1800s compared to us.
I am in the same boat! Saw "It", and have been scared to death of clowns ever since. I never liked them as a child, but as an adult... Yeah, scared. Lol.
See, I am scared of clowns because when I was a kid.. I had a clown look at me smiling saying "you know why clowns always smile kid? They did something bad in the past that he just wants to forget about!!" I was maybe 10 at the time and I am 18 now and terrified of clowns..
Normal. I've never been terrified of clowns, but they are pretty creepy so I can understand why anyone would have a fear of them.
As a child i was scared to death but now they just kind of are freaky and weird to me
O and i read this really creepy poem about them once and i was scared. Santa clause also scared me so maybe it was just costumes in general.

i hate clowns with a passion..i saw like 15 mins of that movie and i was done..and i LOVE horror movies but i cant stand clowns!
I have never seen the movie because my fear of clowns is already too much. Clowns are creepy as hell.
EVERYONE I KNOW is scared of clowns because of that movie/book! I'm not scared of him though...
