Is it normal to tell a guy you're a lesbian so he'll leave you alone?

Ok, so there's this guy, he's best friends with my friend's boyfriend. He keeps trying to grope and kiss me. He did it once and I didn't know what to do. The second attempt/time (he didn't get anywhere.), he said how he hates germs because I share food with my friends (I know it's not sanitary, but I don't care.) so I told him I was sick and showed him my nasal spray (which was entirely true, I was sick.) he attempted it two days ago one last time. I kept procrastinating, talking to my friends/texting them/stuff. Finally I came up with the perfect lie, it actually worked because I had some Yuri Hentai on my phone, and I started watching it and showed it to him. Of course he thought it was disgusting, and I told him I was a lesbian and he believed it. What should I go about doing now? Should I worry if he finds out I'm ever dating a guy? (I could always play the family card.)

    This may sound like a crazy idea, put on your helmet cause this might blow your mind, but have you tried telling the guy that you're not interested in him? I mean if you really don't like the guy then just tell him so. Sometimes we guys don't get the hint unless you bluntly tell us so.

      I agree with Anime7. Furthermore, you should not worry at all if he finds out that you like men: he should be able to get over it, we can not always get every girl that we like.

      You know that really does not work if someone is persistent enough right? That is how people get stalkers. Some people don't like the answer no and will not get it. So saying "Say no" is not always a good answer.

        I get what you're saying, but this guy backed off from her telling a lie. So I don't think he has stalker potential, cause if he did, then that lie wouldn't stop him. I think you should be honest with people and although the rejection may sting, you'll eventually get over it.

          Well it might if the guy is that disgusted by lesbians. Some are very disgusted by gay people. Not saying I am but I know some who do.

            I don't think the guy that the OP is talking about is disgusted by lesbians. I'm pretty sure he just realized that he had zero chance with her so decided to back off. Also the pronoun "it" could be referring to the Yuri Hentai, not lesbian since she said that after the "it."

              The op said he was disgusted by the video. So it sounds like they were disgusted by lesbians. I doubt someone would show disgust since a girl did not like them. I do not understand how that equals disgust? Yuri means girl x girl and hentai is any sexual anime. So gay girl anime.

    Yeah, actually. I have done this many times. It is way easier than having to waste MY time explaining to a dude that I don't find him attractive or desirable in any way. Even when I tell some guys I am a lesbian though, they still don't give up.

    I think it's okay to play the lesbian card but it's probably better for you to tell him you're not interested. If I may ask, why is it so hard to tell him the truth? Maybe you have some issues with codepenency? I do. It's a codependent characteristic to have a hard time telling someone the truth because you're afraid of their reaction.     You shouldn't feel uncomfortable about telling a guy you don't like him. It's not as if he has some right to your body, to do with it as he pleases and grope you as he sees fit. Why are you so scared to exercise your right to say 'no'?
