So I have a really close friend and we know basically everything about each other. We talk on the phone and on fb chat a lot, and whenever we say goodbye we say "I love you". We're both 19 year old girls. Obviously, we don't mean it romantically, but in a sort of sisterly way. Is this weird at all?
Me and my best friend are both straight and female (17 and 18 respectively) and we tell each other we love each other about ten times a day and don't think it's weird at all
Awh thats sweet. I wish I was more nice like that. I am uncomfortable with saying "I love you" to people for some reason.
My friends and I talk like that husky, Mika. :) We howl really loud saying "I WUV YOU!" none of us mean it in a gross way though. We all just luff each other like sisters :D <3
So I am a guy with a guy friend. I am open enough to say that I love him in a non-romantic way and we would jokingly say that to each other. I don't find it strange because he's really cool guy and I know that our friendship is built through mutual respect. So yeah, it is not strange at all to me.

Nope its normal. I do the same thing with my besties. And they are all girls and know I mean it like a sister, especially since it really seems like they are sisters since I am an only child.
I tell all my best friends I love them, guys & girls, & Im 25. Nothing romantic about it. I think its important they know I love them & they mean so much to me. You're normal! :)
Totally, if ur just freinds and stuff and as long as your both cool with it, it's fine
