Is it normal to tear up when something is completely adorable or cute?

So when I see a baby or a baby animal, or a cartoon that's cute or completely adorable to the extreme, My eyes get all watery and teary.
I don't get emotional or anything. Not Double Rainbow Guy emotional. I'm just like, "Ooo! It's so cutee!" And I tear up.
I don't get it.

    You are not alone. The exact same thing happens to me, and I have no idea why. I just make it a point to try to avoid things that are too overly cute lest my eyes start tearing up.

    To be perfectly clear, my tearing up is involuntary. Zero emotions. I'm not like "Wahh! It's so cute!" Just when I see a cute thing, my eyes tear up for no reason.
    So yeah. I really want a biological explanation for this.
