Is it normal to taste other peoples drinks before giving it to them?

Whenever I am in the position of bringing someone a drink, I tend to take a sip out of their glasses. I amuses me to look at them while they drink, because I know how disgusted they would be if they knew I've had a sip out of it. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and it amuses me greatly. Is this normal?
