Is it normal to talk to yourself aloud?

So I tend to speak aloud to myself a lot of the time, I tend to have monologues or even discussions with myself, sometimes I'll narrate what I'm doing or what I gotta do or make comments about what's happening (mostly when I'm playing a videogame), I also tend to tell myself stuff and reminders, read what I' m writing and repeat something a lot of times., all of it aloud.

Am I the only one who does this all of the time?

Man I stay up until the sun comes out and sometimes I'll just start walking around the house while everyone sleeps talking to myself about politics or something philosophical or about anything really, many times in English which isn't even my native language (my native language is Spanish). I'm sure that if anyone woke up and saw me doing this they'd think I'm psychotic or something lmao.

I don't just talk to myself, I sing to myself & my pets & basically everyone. I'm surprised my fiance has not suicide murdered me, but i have 12 million song covers directed towards cats & dogs

    Including but not limited to:

"I, I want to eeee-yeat, some cat treats, destroy some cat treats" to the sound of anarchy from the UK by the sex pistols

"Here I ammmmm...just begging for a tin can...of food" to the sound of space oddity by david Bowie

"Hold up. Hey yay. Other doggies who be actin'all cute take a sea-yeat, even strangers they be bloopin my snoot" to the sound of Nate dog featured in snoop dog/dr dre's next episode

Full lyrics can be provided on request. All my pets have epic songs.

A discussion with only yourself is a monologue, dildo.

Lol i don't have any deep conversations aloud but i will totally talk about my lists while shopping. Another good thing about masks is they hide crazy!

I text to myself a lot. As in my gracious girlfriend finds it cute and it's just an open forum that allows me to dump what I'm thinking in text form. So it reads like a rant but it's more like I talk to myself.

I have a speech impediment so for the bulk of my life, writing was my only outlet of communication that I was proficient at. Even now if i could write up a letter or email vs talking to the person i would. Since it would be clearer anyway.

I do it all the time as well. I feel it sometimes helps me to say things aloud.

"Okay, so this is what I'm going to do next.. wait no you idiot, you forgot the, yes, okay so now I'm going to get something to eat and remember to write down the thing so I don't forget.. ew wtf is that, I think so & so left it there, how much of an asshole would I be if I threw that away.. yeah you would be a complete asshole, don't do it.. don't do it.. remember we were going to try to be nice."

Yeah, pretty much all day. Usually just in my head, but it seems to come out verbally more when I'm really trying to focus or concentrate on something. I'm majorly scatterbrained so I think it helps keep my mind on track to narrate.

I used to talk to myself when I was driving. My town is full of crazy drivers. I used to pretend I was Markiplier playing a scary driving video game. If the other drivers knew the things I was saying, they'd probably think I was nuts. Lol

Man when I'm playing a game sometimes I'll just start talking as if I was a Twitch streamer lmao.

I used to do something similar when I played Fire Emblem. I used to pretend I was a YouTuber named Dashiegames.

I used to like to pretend a lot.XD

Lol, I'm terrible at pretending or anything so I never emulate anyone else, I just start talking as I would if I were to become a Twitch streamer lol.

I sometimes do a Jeremy Clarkson voice as I "review" my car while driving, compare driving a V8 to smearing honey onto Keira Knightley and then insult SUVs and small cars for being inferior and looking like the back end of a baboon!

I also practice my smug face when I smoke someone at a set of lights and they catch up at the next set of lights.

Do any of the people at the lights wind up racing you? XD

BMWs try to race me often, you know how much BMW drivers hate Mercedes drivers.
Then there is the occasional ricer, but other than that - no. Some people give me a disappointed look.

Nothing puts a bigger grin on my face than beating an angry, wannabe racer in a BMW.

I have beaten a friend of mine (BMW fanatic) on a few sets of lights in Varna (coastal city in Bulgaria). Him in his 2008 540i BMW and me in my 2007 E420. It was a bloodbath - both cars have 4l V8s, but his runs on gas, mine on diesel and is twin-turbocharged. Both cars modded, but mine has enough torque to jump start a small sun!

I wish I could make my E-class even more powerful, but I can't - I'm already in the red for the transmission. 7G-tronics are rated up to 800Nm, my car as it is is pushing out 950Nm!
Any more than that and the engine is gonna destroy the transmission.
Even with a secondary transmission cooler, I can't drive like a hooligan too much, cause I risk damage.

Damn. The people in my town could learn from you.
            :)
They modify their cars to the point where they mess up up over and over. XD

I do this sometimes, more so when I used to drive it was a constant narration of what I was doing, what others were doing and what the rules were.
